This is a lovely little hostel, right next to the ferry and bus terminal and a couple of minutes walk from the shop. it’s quite small so really cosy and friendly with nice staff and very clean with a well facilitated kitchen too. Really nice, welcoming atmosphere and very nice owners. Would definitely stay there again
Warm and cozy hostel in the winter. Free home bake bread for breakfast and home cook soup for dinner. Friendly staffs. Big kitchen and lot of free stuffs to borrow from. Cycle around the town with their free bikes or just sit at the lounge watch some movies on your lazy day~
Best backpackers I have ever been for my 2 months in NZ. Charming and warming cottage with very friendly staff, good playlist, woodfire, free WiFi, delicious soup et best ever bred. Go there enjoy Picton !
This hostel was the perfect place to stay at. It has nice and clean showers, a good kitchen and a lot of stuff to do around it. When we arrived it was not sure if they would have enough space to fit us in but the owner ( Rachelle) tried everything to give us a place to sleep and so it was. We stayed there for a while and we just loved it. Especially when in winter time the oven gets heated and the house starts to warm up, it just felt like at home.
And the warmhearted owner and the other receptionists ( especially her son, Scott- just awesome) make you always feel welcome!
So whatever you need in a hostel, you can find if there: nice people, a bed to sleep in, clean showers and a clean kitchen and it's close to city center and to all the beautiful thinks to do and to discover Picton.
